After approx 10 miles (5 miles past ''The Mounts'') turn left at Buckland Tout Saints brown tourism sign, then follow sings to Hotel. From Plymouth (south), take the a379 towards Kingsbridge and after Aveton Gifford bridge climb steep hill and take first left at next roundabout, then cross main road and left again at following roundabout.
