The hotel is located in a pedestrianised neighbourhood. If you arrive by car or taxi, you can get as far as the hotel door along Puerta Miñá or Carmen. You will see the side of the mansion first, but you must make three right turns to get to the entrance, owing to the construction works involved in the renovation of Pinguela Fountain. | | | |

Area Information : The Pazo de Orbán e Sangro is located in the old neighbourhood of Tinería, in the heart of Burgo Vello.
The fountain of A Pinguela and the Miñá door are on the ground floor, according to historians. Just opposite the hotel, the residence of the old wall watch guard is in the process of renovation.
Crossing the Ronda de la Muralla (wall ring road) you get to the neighbourhood of Carmen, with its little chapel and exhibition centre “Porta Miñá”. Only a short distance away, heading up Miñó street, you get to Campo Square, where the lively shopping area of the city begins.

Hotel Information : The architect Lucas Ferro Caveiro from Santiago de Compostela was given the project of the Casa de los Sangro in 1730. He started by removing the façade and decorating the building frontage in a Barroque plaque style, typical of the region. During its second renovation, the property became a mansion. The refurbishment was completed in March 2008 and has preserved many of the original elements and materials.
