Area Information : Kalyves is a magnificent seaside village at the edge of Souda Bay, 17 km from Souda port, 20 km from the centre of Chania and 25 km from Chania Airport.
A small lake crosses over the village which makes its way to the sea. Prior to the entrance of the village, there is a beach with golden yellow sand and turquoise waters.
Kalyves is the ideal place to spend relaxing, carefree moments while enjoying the sun and the sea. It is also worth visiting the surrounding villages such as Almirida and Plaka. You can travel to these picturesque places using KTEL’s bus services, which offer outbound travel schedules or by car, taking the route for Rethymno, with a detour towards Kalyves. You will also be 20 km from Hania.
