by car : from Brussels : You can get to Bruges via exit 9 (Oostkamp), from here it is 7 km via the N 50 to the ring road. Cross the ring road and drive over the Katelijnepoort bridge (no. 4). + B from Ostend, Calais : via exit 7 (Zedelgem, Bruges) - turn left at the roundabout, drive under the motorway and follow the N 397 to Bruges via Sint-Michiels. You must then drive under the railway bridge and turn right before the roundabout, taking the direction of the station + A + B. from Kortrijk (Courtrai), Lille, Paris : the A 17 has traffic lights once you get near to Bruges and it turns into the N 31. At the 2nd traffic light follow the N 397 to Sint-Michiels and thence to Bruges... + A + B via exit 8 : take the A 17 and the N31. Then follow the N 397 to Sint-Michiels and Bruges …+ A + B A : Bruges via the N 397 (Sint-Michiels) : Drive under the railway bridge and turn right before the roundabout, taking the direction of the station. Keep the station on your right and follow the ring road (R30) until you drive over a high canal bridge. Immediately after this, turn left and cross another bridge: this is Katelijnepoort bridge (no. 4) + B B : Once you have crossed the Katelijnepoort bridge : immediately turn right - along the Gentpoortvest - and continue along this road until on your right you see a medieval gate (the Gentpoort). Simply stay to the left of the Gentpoort, cross the road and continue straight on. You are now driving along the Boninvest. At the canal you have no choice but to follow the turn to the left. Hotel Rosenburg is located at the left corner of the next bridge.
