More Information |
Area Information : We are located at the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd, Wales surrounded by the most spectacular scenery. All sorts of outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, golf, sightseeing, horse riding, fishing (in season only) and shooting are available in the surrounding area.
You can be at the west coast of Wales in around 20-30 minutes by car, or for a challenge you climb Cader Idris that is only 20 minutes away.
There are many steam railways close by, or for those who like something a bit different, the RAF carry out low fly training in the area and there are several local vantage points for viewing where the aircraft can be seen flying below you.
|
|
Hotel Information : This smoke-free hotel is a 3-storey, purpose-built Victorian hotel, built in 1873 by Sir Edmund Buckley, the man responsible for bringing the railways to this part of Wales. It is a grade 2 listed building, reputedly the oldest reinforced concrete building in Europe, and the 2nd oldest in the world.
