By Car From the South of Newcastle: - From the A1 and Tyne Tunnel, head north following the Morpeth signs. - After about one mile, take a left turn onto the A1058. - Pass the Corner House pub / restaurant, then take a right turn at the next set of traffic lights. - Bear right, then take the first right onto Churchill Gardens. By Bus From Newcastle city centre: The hotel is located on a main arterial route from the city centre: the A1058 going east to Tynemouth and the coast. Buses are extremely regular (every 2-3 minutes) and run until midnight. From the railway station Take the number 38 bus (to the Freeman Hospital) from the bus stop across the road from the train station. The journey will take 10 to 12 minutes. Ask for the Cradlewell stop. Get off the bus and you will come into a small parade of shops. Stay to the right. Look up and you will see a large church, Holy Trinity. The hotel is opposite. The number 38 bus runs through the centre of the city and can be picked up at the Monument, the Theatre Royal and at the Grainger Market. From the town centre, Haymarket and Haymarket Metro station: You can catch buses numbered 305, 306, 307, 308 and 309. The journey will take approximately, 6 to 7 minutes. Ask for the Cradlewell stop. By Metro From the airport: The hotel is 20 minutes on the Metro from the airport to Jesmond Metro station (not West Jesmond). Take the green line to South Shields. On arrival at Jesmond Metro come out of the station and turn left onto Jesmond Road. Cross over Osborne Road at the junction of Jesmond Road. Continue ahead in a straight line. You will pass the Imperial Hotel on your left, then a large graveyard, continue on, where you will come to a set of traffic lights and a pub on your left called the Punch Bowl. Continue on, past another pub called the Cradlewell and a gym and a restaurant called The Barn. You will come into a small parade of shops and Rehills convenience store. Look up and you will see a large church on your right, Holy Trinity. Cross over the road towards the church and you will come into Churchill gardens. The hotel is opposite the church.
