From Harrogate (5 miles): - Take the A59 towards Knaresborough and at the traffic lights at the bottom of Knaresborough High Street, continue straight on towards Boroughbridge on the A6055. - After leaving Knaresborough, you will shortly arrive in the village of Ferrensby where The General Tarleton is on your left. By Train The nearest main-line station is York, from where you can get a train to Knaresborough. The General Tarleton is a 3-mile taxi ride from Knaresborough station.
