- Join the A303.
- When you reach the A350, turn south to Shaftesbury.
- Once in Shaftesbury, at the first roundabout, take the B3091 (third exit). At the next sharp corner (about 150 metres), drive straight on towards the town centre, just after a very narrow part turn right to Sturminster Newton.
- After about 5 miles you will see the Manston village sign. Then, within 100 metres, there is a turning to the right to Todber (1.5), East Stour (3), Gillingham (6); take this and the accommodation is the 3rd house on the right (look out for the large B&B sign).

Area Information : The nearest town is the old market town of Sturminster Newton, which is about 2 miles (3.2 km) away. Shaftesbury, with its famous cobbled street of Gold Hill is about 6 miles (10 km) away.
The area has walks, country houses, gardens, castles and cathedrals. Manston is about 25 miles (40 km) from the coast. Bath, Bournemouth, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Sherborne, the Jurassic coast, Monkey World and Longleat are within reach.
