Area Information : The selection of restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries nearby makes this the ideal base for your holiday in Connemara. Connemara is the area of County Galway west of Lough Corrib, and it is an area of outstanding beauty. There are numerous sandy beaches, golfing at Ballyconneely, fishing in the famous lakes and rivers, and spectacular hill walking in the mountains. You can also enjoy cycling, bird-watching, scuba-diving, sea-cruises, heritage tours, garden tours, deep sea fishing and pony trekking. It is a place to unwind, de-stress, relax and breathe in the fresh, clean air.

Hotel Information : The guest lounge is most comfortable, with complimentary tea and coffee facilities, lots of local information, board games and books. You can even peruse through the guest comment books since 1997.
The front garden slopes down to the road (steps provided!). There are landscaped beds and a pond. The rear garden extends up to the base of the hill where there are beds of herbs and vegetables. The hens reside here from May to September, even providing some of the eggs for breakfast, and Diana, our small Connemara pony, visits from time to time.
