Hotel Information : The house was originally built as manor in 1536. Later in 1704 it was converted into a small brewery. It managed to escape being ravaged during the Thirty Years War and also survived the Second World War without damage. Then, in 1984, this historical monument was restored true to its original plan and turned into a small hotel. Each room now has its own bath and toilet, telephone, TV and mini bar. Its name "Spitzweg" recalls the great painter of the romantic era, Carl Spitzweg, who once lived here in Rothenburg. Those who are fond of the romantic idyll will certainly find things to their taste here!
