Area Information : Close to the hotel you find the castle ruins of Freyberg and Eisenberg. Further day trip destinations include the pilgrimage church of Maria-Hilf and lake Hopfensee with its beautiful promenade. The city of Füssen and its many shops, its palace and the Lechfall waterfall also lies nearby. An absolute must during your stay is a visit to the "king''s castles" of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, and to the Pöllatschlucht gorge which lies between them.
Just a few kilometres away in Pfronten you can begin mountain treks, and a short journey further takes you to the Tyrol.
