Area Information : A visit to the island of Mainau offers you not only an opportunity to explore all of the flowers, which it is famous for, but also to go to the summer palace of the Lennart Bernadotte Foundation, which boasts a tropical climate greenhouse with thousands of butterflies. There is also Children’s Land with many activities, including a garden railway, Zwergendorf (Dwarf Town) for smaller children and the new Water World, where children can learn the different ways of getting around a lake, including rafts and swinging bridges.
A day at the Sea Life Centre in Konstanz will take you through an acrylic tunnel where you are surrounded by various forms of aquatic life, including sharks and eels.
Conny Land is the only place in Switzerland and the surrounding Lake Constance region where you will find dolphins and sea lions along with parrot shows, a petting zoo and fun park.
Just a bit further away is the Ravensburger fun park. Ravensburger is Germany’s biggest name in children’s board and activity games, so this park will be sure to provide you with a lot of fun and entertainment.
