Area Information : Venetian Lido is a thin island 12 km long, which divides the Lagoon of Venice from the sea. Lido is one of the few Venetian Lagoon island in which you can find driveways, and is the setting of the Film Festival each September.
A lush paradise preferred by artists since the 19th century, Lido was once the retreat of greats such as Lord Byron and Thomas Mann. Today, the island is home to the famous Venice Film Festival.
