By train: Daily services from Madrid to Salamanca leaving from Chamartin station. The journey takes 2.5 hours. The city is also connected with Avila, Barcelona, Burgos, Bilbao, Logroño, San Sebastián, Tarragona, Valladolid, Vitoria and Zaragoza. Distance from train station to the hotel: 2 km. From the station take Pº Estación to Pza. España. Take Mirat Avenue to Pº Carmelitas. By Bus: Auto Res provides daily service from Madrid, almost every hour, leaving from Plaza de Conde de Casal. Bus station is 1,5 Kmt from the Hotel. From the station take Filiberto Villalobos Avenue to Pº Carmelitas. By car: From Madrid, take N-VI direction A Coruña. Take the N-110 to Avila and connect with the N-501 to Salamanca. Cross Sánchez Fabrés Bridge, turn left into Pº S. Vicente, straight on to Pº Carmelitas.  Area Information : Salamanca has been declared a Historical Patrimony. It is known for being the "Alma Mater" of Spanish education with more than 48.000 students. House-Museum Unamuno The rector of the University of Salamanca in 1900 has his home-museum dedicated to perpetuating his memory. Located in one of the patios of the Escuelas Menores the "El Cielo de Salamanca" forms part of the dome of the old University library. The museum also houses other lithurgical elements from the XVI and XVII centuries. In the old University building, a collection of reptiles are of great paleontologic interest. In the surroundings you can find beautiful landscapes and typical villages in the Peña de Francia, Sierra de Béjar and Arribes del Duero.
