This Victorian house is in large gardens and has easy access to Edinburgh's city centre by bus. Alba House has a quiet location less than 2 miles (3.2 km) from Edinburgh Waverley rail Station. A number of local buses run regularly from the stop outside the guest house. The house was built in about 1860 and the large rooms mix original features with modern comforts. Alternatively, when leaving Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station on to Princes Street, turn right and walk 200 metres to the North Bridge. Cross to the east side of the North Bridge and take the number 7, 8 or 31 bus (or the number 3, 3A, 37 or 37A bus) to Craigmillar Park. The bus stops outside Alba House and will only take a few minutes in total.,
