By Car - From the A1, take the A64, then the A1036 signposted York West. - Follow signs for city centre. - When you pass the Marriott Hotel on the right, take the next turning right. Follow Knavesmire Road/Campleshon Road to the end. - Go left into Bishopthorpe Road and Hillcrest Guest House is half a mile on the right. Free private parking is available. From York train station: When you arrive at York train station, go to the main entrance. Turn right and follow Queen Street (over bridge). At the traffic lights go straight over into Nunnery Lane (left side is a car park). Go to the end of Nunnery Lane and turn right into Bishops Gate, and straight on into Bishopthorpe Road. We are on top of the hill, on the left. By Bus Take bus number 11 to Bishopthorpe and exit at South Bank. ,
