By Car: From the South (M1/M18/A1M/A1): - Leave the A1, taking the A64 for York and Scarborough. - Leave the A64 for the A1036, signed for York West. - Travel towards York, passing the Holiday Inn and the Marriott Hotel on the right. - You will then pass York's racecourse on the right. As racecourse is coming to end, watch for Fairmont 230 on the left. - St George's Place is off the next left. From the North (A1 South): - Leave at junction of A59 for York and travel towards the centre. - You will pass under the iron girder bridge. Turn right straight after this (signed for Selby and Racecourse). - At the traffic lights, turn right. - Travel down hill until you see the Newington Hotel. - St George's Place is off the next right. By Public Transport: The railway station is a 15 minute walk away, with the bus station situated just around the corner from that. Taxis are always available from the railway station. By Air: The nearest airport is Leeds/Bradford. This is 30 minutes away by road - a bus service to York is available.,
