Lynton is a small village in Devon, England. It lies on Exmoor on the edge of the Quantock Hills and is located at the top of a gorge above Lynmouth, to which it is connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway. Lynton was once the terminus for the narrow-gauge Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, which served both towns. Part of the line has been reopened at Woody Bay, with steam and diesel hauled passenger rides throughout the Summer.
