Paisley is situated on the northern edge of the Gleniffer Braes, straddling the banks of the River Cart. Paisley is a town and former burgh in the west-Central Lowlands of Scotland. Paisey has many events going through out the year. The Saugeen River, which cuts its way right through the centre of the village of Paisley, is ideal for recreational canoe and kayak endeavors. The entire day can be spent on the river and you never have to leave town. A "Park & Paddle" is located at Milne Park in the south end of the village. Riverside Park provides a dock, parking, camping facilities, tennis courts, childrens playground, horseshoe pits and volleyball nets.
