Chepstow Information: |
Chepstow is located on the River Wye, close to its confluence with the River Severn, and close to the western end of the Severn Bridge on the M48 motorway. Chepstow is well known for its castles, the oldest surving stone castle in Britain. The area beside the river has been attractively landscape for the flood defence scheme. The town also holds a biennial festival, an annual folk festival, and also organised a night time show covering the aspects of local history using the local residents under professional direction. The town also has a local Museum.
